Today (3/16/2026) APDA leadership along with the Parkinson’s community, will be on Capitol Hill for the 2026 Parkinson’s Policy Forum — meeting directly with members of Congress to push for policies that accelerate research, improve care and address environmental risks linked to Parkinson’s disease (PD). APDA is proud to partner with the Michael J. Fox Foundation, Parkinson’s Foundation, and PMD Alliance to host this inspirational event and bring together 350 advocates to push for PD to be the federal priority it needs and deserves to be.
Throughout the week, advocates from across the country will be sharing their stories and urging lawmakers to act. Even if you won’t be in Washington DC with us, your voice is just as important. By posting on social media, sending an email, or making a quick call to your members of Congress you can help us ensure lawmakers hear this loud, unified message from the Parkinson’s community: Invest in Parkinson’s research. Protect people from environmental risks. Act now!
